Could someone help with James Crabbe who I can't track down in the 1901 census.
Forgot to say born in 1868 in York.
Thanks Jenny

Have you tried slight variations of the spelling? Census's are notoriuos for misspelled names.
Try the 1901 Canadain census for that name to get an idea of the variant spellings to look for.

eg
Crabb (126) Crabbe (78) Crab (62) Crabe (35) Craib%28%3F%29 (8) Crapp (5) Craib(?) (4) Corp (3) Cripp (3)
